At NeedleLeaf Foundation, we understand that the devastation caused by wildfires and drug addiction are not separate issues—they are two sides of the same coin. From the destruction of our forests to the destruction of our families, we are all affected by the flames, whether literal or metaphorical.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Student ID Cards: Equipped with indoor and outdoor tracking sensors for real-time location monitoring.
  • Tree Smoke Detectors: Embedded with LoRaWAN chipsets for detecting smoke and environmental changes.
  • LoRaWAN Communication: Each LoRaWAN chip communicates with gateways through the LoRa physical layer.
  • Gateway Functionality: Gateways relay messages to a network server via TCP/IP and offe full coverage and zone identification.
  • Network Server Management: Centrally manages all connected devices and multiple gateways.
  • Application Server: Processes data for analytics and system integration, accessible securely via HTTPS on mobile and desktop devices.
